Israeli historian Daniel Blatman predicted in 2017 that the Israeli judiciary system would eventually be destroyed in order to help Netanyahu stay in power, and days passed proving Blatman's point of view.

The preliminary results of the Israeli general elections showed an unprecedented sweep of votes by the far right, where the right-wing camp led by Benjamin Netanyahu won about 65 seats out of 120 seats.
